MOCAfest is a international arts festival. MOCA stands for Marketplace of Creative Arts run by the World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF). MOCAfest gives a platform to help promote emerging creative artists a worldwide stage.

The MOCAfellow programme consisted of 5 days of inspirational masterclasses and invaluable workshops, shared with 9 fellow participants selected from Malaysia, Australia, Canada, Germany, Morocco, Philippines and UK. The educational, engaging and fun workshops taught us what it takes to expand, seek opportunities and develop yourself in a global creative marketplace.

Inspirational guest speakers, successful in their own right, shared their knowledge and experience including Joel Soh, Zalfian Fuzi, Abdur Rahman Syed, Jo Kukathas, Jo Sidek, Assad Ali Jiffri and many others……

Following the MOCAfellow programme…it was MOCAfest time!! with over 40 global artists the 3 day event included exhibitions, networking opportunities, masterclasses, interviews, live performances, film screenings and much more at KLCC….

It was an absolute pleasure sharing this platform with fellow MOCAfellows, who are uber talented in their own disciplines from Film makers, Calligriffiti artist, Spoken-word artist, Curator of Art, eco Fashion designer, Talent artist entrepreneur, Jewellery maker and Musician.
